San Clemente Beach Click here to return to the Sutphen Family Home Page In search of a new beach, we traveled to San Clemente Beach for the day on Saturday, 9/21/2002. We first stopped at one which was OK, but not a lot of people. We then went south to the San Clemente Pier and found a most beautiful beach. There were several restaurants and concessions at the beach, and the bottom was very sandy. It also seemed to go out a ways before it got deep.
